There are two ways to add shortcuts for web pages in Kiosk mode. You can do this either directly through the entity or via the Managed Play Store in the policy.
🔹 Option 1 – Adding directly through the entity:
Access the menu Management > Entities.
Select the desired entity to view its settings.
Go to the Kiosk tab.
In the Application field, enter the desired URL.
In the Desired Name field, set the name that will be displayed on the icon.
6. Click “Add”.
7. Then, save the entity and click “Apply” so the change is sent to the devices.
🔹 Option 2 – Adding via policy as a WebApp
Access the menu Management > Android Policies.
Click on the name of the policy you want to edit.
Go to the Play Store tab.
Click on Web Apps, as shown in the image below:
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the WebApp by entering the URL and shortcut name.
🔹 Creating the WebApp
Click the “+” button located at the bottom right of the screen.
In the window that appears, fill in the following fields:
Title: Name that will be displayed on the Kiosk icon.
URL: Address of the desired web page.
Display mode: Define how the site will open (e.g., full screen or in a window).
Icon (optional): You can upload a custom icon for the shortcut.
3. After filling in the details, click “Create”.
⚠️ Creation may take a few minutes to complete.
🔹 Selecting the created WebApp
Once the app is available, click on the WebApp icon.
Then, click “Select” at the bottom right of the screen.
🔹 Finalizing the configuration
Save the policy with the changes made.
Then, save the entity linked to the policy and confirm the application of the settings.
⚠️ Important:
For the WebApp to work correctly on the device, Google Chrome must be installed.
Therefore, it is essential to include it in the policy as a mandatory installation app.
