In general, the processing, data, and battery consumption of the Urmobo app (on any supported operating system) is low.
However, some features available in the entity’s “Monitoring” tab may increase the use of processing, data, and battery.
In the image below, we highlight:
- In red: the items that cause higher battery and processing consumption.
- In blue: the items that generate higher data consumption.
Items That Generate Higher Data Consumption
High data consumption occurs because these items need to send and receive more information to and from the server to ensure that the selected data is always up to date and available.
Items That Cause Higher Battery Consumption
- Enabled Geofence:
This feature uses the device’s GPS in real time to detect whether the user has entered or left the area defined by the configured geofence. Constantly monitoring this sensor increases battery and processing consumption. - App Usage Monitoring:
Keeps an active background service to collect information about the usage of apps on the device. - Fall Detection:
Uses the device’s accelerometer, actively monitoring this sensor, which results in higher battery and processing consumption. - Speed Control:
Uses real-time GPS to identify the device’s speed, increasing battery and processing consumption due to constant monitoring.
