BYOD stands for Bring Your Own Device. It is an IT infrastructure concept where employees use their personal devices to perform work-related tasks.
Before installing the devices, it is necessary to create a profile within the Urmobo platform. To do this, go to: Side Menu > Management > Entities > "Add" Button. Fill in the initial information and save the entity.
Next, you will need to link a configuration policy to this entity. To do so, go to: Side Menu > Management > Policies > Apple > "Add" Button.
On the screen that appears, select the entity to which this new policy will be linked and save the changes.
To install this profile on the devices, go to the Apple policies list, click the three dots at the end of the policy, right-click on the “Download Profile” option, and copy the download link address.
The copied link should look similar to the following, with only the entity token varying:
https://apple.urmobo.com.br/mdm/getprofile/urmobo_84141z
This link must be accessed through the Safari browser directly on the device where the profile will be installed.

After downloading the profile, go to the device’s Settings, navigate to the General section, select VPN & Device Management, and tap the Urmobo profile to start the installation process.

To complete the installation process, follow the instructions in the images below:

After completing the installation process, the device will be available on our platform. Finally, you will need to open the Urmobo app — which will be downloaded to the device — and grant the necessary permissions to enable the additional features.
