BYOD stands for Bring Your Own Device. It is a concept in IT infrastructure where employees use their personal devices to perform work-related activities. Urmobo supports this model by allowing the creation of a work profile on employees’ phones (as shown in the images below). This profile is fully managed through Android Policies in the management portal.
Installing a device for BYOD use is quite simple and can be done in two ways:

The first method is to download the Android Device Policy app directly from the Play Store and then scan the Google AFW QR Code of the desired entity. After this step, Android will automatically perform all the necessary configuration to set up the device with a work profile according to the specified policies.

The second method is to send the user the Play Store URL, which can be found in the desired entity (as shown in the image below), via a messaging app, SMS, email, or other means. The user should then click on this URL on their Android device, which will automatically perform all the configuration.
